- Which voices are available?
- The list depends on your browser and OS. Chrome and Edge show 20-200+ voices from Google/Microsoft. Safari shows Apple system voices. Firefox has fewer voices.
- Can I save the audio as MP3?
- Not in the current version. The browser SpeechSynthesis API plays audio live but does not expose a recording interface. For MP3 export you need a server-side TTS service.
- Does this send my text anywhere?
- No, on most browsers. Chrome/Edge may stream to Google servers for some premium voices - check the voice name. Apple and Mozilla voices run locally.
