Frequently asked questions

Does the editor support GFM?
Yes. GitHub Flavored Markdown including tables, task lists, strikethrough, and fenced code blocks.
Can I export as HTML?
Yes. Click Export HTML to download the rendered markup. The preview uses the same renderer.
Is my content saved between sessions?
No. The text lives in the page only, so a reload starts from the sample document. Use Download .md to keep a copy. Nothing is uploaded either way.
Can I embed images?
Yes, with `![alt](url)` pointing at a hosted image or a data URI you paste in. Dropping a local image file into the editor is not supported.
What does Download .html produce?
A complete standalone HTML document with a built-in stylesheet for headings, tables, code blocks, and blockquotes, so it renders correctly when opened directly in a browser.
Is raw HTML inside my Markdown rendered?
The preview pane sanitizes the converted HTML first, so scripts and inline event handlers are stripped from what you see. The copied and downloaded HTML contains the unsanitized conversion of your input.
