How to create a professional invoice without an account

Frequently asked questions
- Do I need to sign up or create an account?
- No. The invoice generator runs entirely in your browser with zero signup. Open the page, fill in the form, download the PDF. Nothing is saved on our servers.
- Is there a watermark on the PDF?
- No. The generated invoice PDF has no watermark, no "created with" footer, and no branding added by us. It looks the same whether you are a free user or a paying one - because there are no paying users.
- Which currencies are supported?
- USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, KRW, CNY, INR, IDR, THB, VND, TRY, BRL, AUD, and CAD. Amounts are formatted using each currency’s local conventions (JPY, KRW, IDR, and VND are shown without decimal places).
- Can I add tax and discount?
- Yes. Enter a tax rate as a percentage and an optional discount as a fixed amount. The discount is applied to the subtotal first, then the tax is calculated on the discounted amount.
- Is my data sent anywhere?
- No. Every field you type stays in your browser. The PDF is generated client-side using jsPDF and saved directly to your device. You can verify this in your browser DevTools network tab - zero requests are made when you click Download PDF.
- Can I save a draft and edit it later?
- Not in the current version. If you refresh the page your inputs will reset. For now, download the PDF as your record and copy the values to a new invoice next month. We may add localStorage draft saving in a future update.
- What fonts does the PDF use?
- Standard Helvetica, which is built into every PDF reader and does not need to be embedded. This keeps the file size small (~5 KB for a typical invoice) and guarantees consistent rendering everywhere.
