Can I extract specific pages?
Yes. Enter page ranges like "1-3, 7, 10-12" to export exactly those pages as a new PDF.
Can I split a PDF into single pages?
Yes. Use the "one page per file" option to get a separate PDF for every page.
Does it preserve password-protected PDFs?
Encrypted PDFs must be decrypted first. This tool does not break PDF passwords.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. Splitting uses pdf-lib entirely in your browser. Documents stay private.
Can I split into fixed chunks instead of single pages?
Yes. The every-N mode cuts the document into consecutive groups, so a 20-page file with N set to 5 produces four PDFs of five pages each.
Why was my page range rejected?
Ranges are 1-based, must stay inside the document, and must ascend. Entries like 5-2 or a page number past the last page are refused, and the input is left for you to correct.
