Can I export as MP3?
Yes, via lamejs. WAV export is 16-bit PCM; MP3 defaults to 192 kbps with 128 and 320 also available.
Is there a length limit?
Recommended under 60 minutes. Browser memory limits apply for very long files.
Are my files uploaded?
No. All audio processing runs via Web Audio API in your browser.
Is anything downloaded when I export MP3?
The LAME MP3 encoder script is fetched from this site the first time you export MP3. Your audio itself is decoded and encoded locally and is never sent anywhere.
What do the fade controls do?
Fade in and fade out apply a volume ramp of up to 3 seconds at each end of the trimmed selection, which removes the click you get when a cut lands mid-waveform.
