Metric vs imperial: difference?
Metric uses km and L/100km. Imperial uses miles and mpg. Toggle the unit system and all fields update.
Can I use a different currency?

How is fuel needed calculated?
Metric: distance × (L/100km) / 100. Imperial: distance / mpg. Total cost is fuel multiplied by price.
What happens when I switch between metric and imperial?
The values you already typed are converted rather than reinterpreted: 8 L/100km becomes the equivalent mpg, kilometres become miles, and a price per litre becomes a price per gallon.
What does cost per distance mean?
The total fuel cost divided by the distance, shown in the selected currency per kilometre or per mile. It is fuel only and ignores tolls, servicing, and depreciation.
